Sights: Buffington rear sight

Notes: The experimental ramrod bayonet has single squared shoulder at each locking groove. The bayonet latches have short side ears while the standard 1888 has wraparound or curved side ears.

MFG: Total of 1,000 were produced in 1885-1886 for trial use. Distribution was widespread resulting in a sm. survival rate
