A seldom seen example of a Confederate utilized South Carolina Militia button as worn by officers & possibly diplomats. This button was produced by Jean Battiste Marie Muleur of Sens, France & Agry of Paris, France. This type of solid silver button was produced using coin planchets. Albert # SC-18-A or Tice # SC-208.
