Bbl. 30″ oct. measuring 7/8″ across flats at muzzle. Wind gauge front sight, filler in rear dovetail w/ mid range Vernier tang sight. Plain trigger, (record check states “set”). Case colored action. Ebony tipped schnabel tipped forearm of fancy walnut w/ style H hand checkering. Hard rubber capped pistol grip stock w/ shadow line cheekpiece, style H checkering & nickel finished brass Schuetzen buttplate. Left inside of lower tang is marked w/ assembly no. “1039” followed by “1”, wood grade marking “XX” & “SBC”. Mfg. 1886.
