This cap is Confederate depot issue, appears like well documented Richmond clothing depot examples, but should have been issued from closer to gulf coast if ID is correct would date early 1862. Cap has loose ID as worn by C. Edward Seaman who enlisted June 19, 1861 in Pensacola, FL was transferred to Confederate navy April 16, 1862 & the naval cap in next lot was his also.
