VERY RARE EMBOSSED “CS” CONFEDERATE ARSENAL MADE CARTRIDGE BOX & SLING.

“CS” embossed are the rarest and most desired of Confederate infantry cartridge boxes, especially with original slings. This is a classic CS box made only for over-the-shoulder strap with no provision for belt and lead finial. The sling is likely late war made from re-purposed harness leather pieced together when materials were getting in short demand by arsenals.
