An excellent example of engraving by Angelo Bee, former Browning master engraver. Action has full coverage vine type foliate scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds & gold inlaid borders surrounding French gray game scenes. Right side features 3 gold inlaid flushing quail. Left side depicts 4 gold inlaid mallards. Scroll highlights extend to receiver extension, mag. band, mag. cap & muzzle. Gold highlights include inlaid S#s & choke markings w/ gold band at muzzle. Bottom of receiver extension has engraved pigeon. Angelo’s signature is found along bottom of both game scenes. Gold finished trigger. Breech bolt & carrier are jeweled. Bbl. 28” w/ round post donut base style vent rib. Fixed Mod choke. White target front sight w/ white mid bead. Custom beavertail forearm & steel capped pistol grip stock of satin finished thin shell walnut. Borderless segmented hand checkering is highlighted w/ richly carved foliate borders.
LOP: 14 1/8” over thin red Winchester pad.
