Outstanding gold & silver inlaid hand engraving by Belgium trained master engraver Gino Cargnel. Right side scene features camp scene w/ a cowboy kicking over the coffee pot on a bucking horse while the angry cook swings a shovel & a third cowboy scrambles to get out of the way. Left side scene features mounted cowboys & lawmen in an old west shootout. Scenes are surrounded by gold wire borders w/ foliate highlights.
Balance of action is covered by scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds that extends to the receiver extension & bbl. ends. S#s are inlaid in gold. Hand jeweled bolt & carrier. Docwiller custom beavertail forearm & Monte Carlo stock of gloss finished fancy black walnut w/ extensive burl & figure. Contrasting wood grip cap has brass diamond inlay. Fancy fleur-de-lis borderless segmented hand checkering.
LOP: 14-1/8″ over solid black Pachmayr presentation pad. 26″ bbl. with large round post Winchester special vent rib. Fixed Skeet choke. Red target front sight, mid bead is broken. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 4.8 oz. Mfg. 1958.
