CUSTOM DELUXE FABRIQUE NATIONAL M98 AFRICAN DANGEROUS GAME BOLT ACTION RIFLE

Very special FN M98 custom shop African hunting rifle. The 2 color raised gold inlay portrays scenes with scroll and feathered dragons on the front receiver ring, floorplate and trigger guard. These scenes are surrounded by additional dragon heads with scroll and borders spewing from their mouths. 2 more dragon heads with foliate scroll adorn the Griffin & Howe side mount scope base.
The 24 1/2″ heavy tapered round bbl. is finished with gold wire inlay the breech & muzzle ends. An express rear sight with 1 standing and 2 folding leafs is mounted a quarter rib with hand filed serrations. The gold bead front sight and hood are on a hand serrated ramp. The scope is a 30mm Swarovski Z6i series 1-6x24EE with illuminated European 3 post & dot reticle. Straight comb cheekpiece stock of gloss finished light colored thin shell walnut has full length fiddle figure, black grip cap and sling swivel base. The front swivel base is bbl. mounted. The point pattern hand checkering has areas of wide single line & beaded borders.
LOP 14 3/8″ over a 1 1/8″ solid brown pad. Weight with scope 10 lbs., 13 ozs.
