FINE EARLY AMERICAN CHERRY FAN BACK KNUCKLE ARM WINDSOR ARMCHAIR.

Third-quarter 18th century, mid-Atlantic region. The arched crest rail with well carved scrolled ears joined to seven spindles. The cushion back continuing to flat arms ending in molded hand grips with rolled knuckle terminals on turned supports. The well defined saddle seat raised on splayed ring turned legs joined by a box stretcher. SIZE: 42″ h x 26″ w x 22″ d. Seat is 17 1/2″ h.
