Bbl. 16″ round w/ rib. Blade front sight w/ folding leaf rear sight. Top break rifle based on the No. 3 single action revolver. Six shot fluted cyl w/ case colored hammer, trigger & trigger guard. Checkered hard rubber grips & forearm w/ Smith & Wesson monograms. Detachable walnut shoulder stock w/ checkered hard rubber buttplate. Total production of 977 mfg. 1879-1887.
