CHOICE WWII GERMAN M1942 SS HELMET

This exceptional helmet has a rich green-painted finish over what appears to be a darker green-painted finish, almost in camouflage style. The right side of the helmet has a single fine, original SS decal affixed at a slight angle. The interior rear of the helmet is stamped “__64” and “3070”. Original, well-worn, light brown leather, 8-tongue liner with equally well-worn dark brown leather chinstrap.
