CUSTOM STAINLESS REMINGTON MODEL 700 BOLT ACTION RIFLE

Bbl. 28″ fluted stainless with blued triple baffle muzzle brake giving 30 1/4″ overall; 1.22″ at rear and .88″ at muzzle. Consignor states built by Gerald Boyd (2046-2014) who worked for, and was close friend of, Kenny Jarrett who is famous for his long range “bean field” rifles. Consignor further states that Boyd used a Shilen barrel that is marked “WEST KENTUCKY GUNS” along with its caliber; all Boyd barrels similarly marked. Bolt handle with ground scope clearance and added pear shaped aluminum knob giving longer overall length for positive operation with greater leverage. Stock is unmarked but appears to be a green (black trim) Accuracy International Chassis of L96 style as used by English and German snipers. Forend tip allows use of a pivoting bipod. Multiple ports for push button release sling swivels plus rail in forend. Thumbhole stock has adjustable buttplate and comb. Action appears to have factory adjustable trigger set for 4 pounds (gauge measured). Unmarked Picatinny one piece scope base with unmarked heavy duty 34mm scope rings; all matte finished. Superb Schmidt Bender 5-25X56 matte finished scope with P4FL first focal plane reticle that has variable illumination. Side parallax, fine 1/4 MOA adjustments and Euro fast focus eyepiece. Scope introduced in 2022; MSRP of $4,120. MAGS: 1 unbranded 10 rd. appears by Accuracy International.
UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Heavily constructed Hunting Classics lockable airline style aluminum transport case in good condition with outlined foam liner and Harris SLM Bipod.
