Bbl. 26″ vent rib w/ white target front sight. Full set of five tubes included. Custom sideplated boxlock action w/ full coverage engraving by Ron Reimer. Right sideplate features a detailed woodland scene w/ three quail. Left scene shows three pheasants. Trigger guard bow shows a portrait of a rooster pheasant. Floorplate shows a portrait of a setter. Scenes are surrounded by masterful full coverage foliate scroll engraving w/ finely matted backgrounds & elaborate borders. Engraving continues to trigger guard tang, forearm iron & breech areas of bbls. Ron Reimer was trained as a gunsmith at the Colorado School of Trades. He later worked for Herter’s until their bankruptcy. In 1990, he began working for Browning Arms in Arnold, Missouri, retiring in 2011 he moved to Wyoming where he still engraves Browning firearms. The President of Browning Arms called Ron a “master engraver in every way”. Gold plated SST. Selective ejectors. Schnable tipped forearm & straight grip stock of satin finished fancy thin shell walnut w/ silver nameplate in toeline. Stock & forearm have fine wraparound hand engraving w/ borders, leaf carving w/ stippled backgrounds around the stock ears. LOP: 1 1/8″ to a Browning buttplate. DAC: 1 3/8″. DAH: 1 15/16″. Neutral cast. WEIGHT: 6 lbs, 8.2 oz.

UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Browning luggage case. Also included is a colored photocopy from Gun Digest magazine depicting Ron Reimer’s masterworks. Also included is an original foam-lined Browning box containing spare chokes, choke wrench & owner’s manual packet.
