CSMC is one of America’s premier gunmakers known for their best quality O/U & SXS shotguns. The delightful small frame double rifle was introduced in 2006. Bbls. 22″. Ramp mounted bead front sight w/ quarter-rib mounted fixed square notch rear sight having gold wire sighting border. Small frame boxlock action is scaled in proportion to the caliber. No.5 factory engraving featuring vignettes w/ gold figures. Right side shows a squirrel, left side a cottontail rabbit. Trigger guard shows a snarling ferret & the floorplate has the Winchester horse & rider emblem. Scenes are surrounding by full coverage arabesque scroll & fancy borders that extend to trigger guard tang & forearm iron. Gold plated SST. Selective ejectors. Breech face, receiver & bbl. water tables, inside of forearm & ejector hammers are machine-jeweled. Trim beavertail forearm w/ ebony insert & straight grip stock of fancy black walnut having fine point pattern hand checkering. Toeline of stock has an oval nameplate w/ initials that may be “RFD”. LOP: 14 1/8″ over checkered butt w/ skeleton steel buttplate engraved to match the action. DAC: 2 1/4″. DAH: 3 3/8″. Stock has approx. 1/8″ cast on. WEIGHT: 5 lbs.
