25-1593
Cal. 20 Ga. 2-3/4″
S# 239983 (1938)

It is doubtful that this fine little gun has ever shot a round of skeet. The factory letter indicates that it was shipped to Marshall Field Inc., Chicago, Illinois on January 11, 1938. The gun features 28″ Vulcan steel barrels with standard rib which has two white beads installed. All correct markings are on barrel flats and rear lump is stamped “20” and with frame size “0”. Splinter is of reinforced type. Case hardened action with all correct markings on watertable features Parker single selective trigger and non-automatic safety. Action has wiggle border engraving and some small flourishes of scroll with ”PARKER” on bottom in usual late factory V grade style. Blued trigger guard has S# on tang. Straight grip buttstock of nicely quilt figured American walnut measures 14″ over checkered wood butt. Stock has usual point pattern grip checkering and German silver shield on toeline. Matching long beavertail ejector forend has usual Parker release without patent dates. Factory letter does not list stock configuration. Identification ledger lists as having ejectors and single trigger but does not list straight grip stock or long forend.
