FINE NEW HAVEN ARMS NO. 1 VOLCANIC LEVER ACTION PISTOL CONVERTED TO RIMFIRE

Originally manufactured between 1858-1860 by the New Haven Arms Company for the self-contained “rocket ball” cartridges, upgraded around time of Civil War with Henry style rimfire firing pin.
Standard configuration otherwise with 3.5″ octagonal barrel, integral magazine, “NEW HAVEN CONN PATENT FEB 14 1854” stamped on top flat in one line, fixed notch rear sight, pinched post front sight, silver plated brass frame, varnished rosewood grips.
