Bbl. 26″, with fixed WS-1 and WS-2 chokes. Brass front bead, with ivory mid bead. Flat sided boxlock action, with full coverage custom engraving. Gold figures consist of 3 flying mallards on the right side, 3 pheasants on the left side, 4 flying and 2 sitting quail on the floorplate, and 1 duck on the trigger guard bow. Breech end of bbls. have 2 flying ducks on the right, with 1 sitting and 1 flying pheasant on the left. Receiver, trigger guard, forearm iron, and bbls. have gold wire borders. Floorplate has gold inlaid “SKEET” marking. Game bird scenes are surrounded by fine foliate scroll, with punch dot backgrounds. Bolsters have deep relief maple leaf carving. Receiver has a bright finish. Trigger guard, top lever, forearm iron, and breech end of bbls. have complimentary engraving, with blue finish. Floorplate is signed “C. Mills ’84”. Single selective trigger and ejectors. Breech face and water table of receiver are machine jeweled. Original forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of nicely grained walnut. Stock and forearm are refinished and upgraded with segmented checkering done in 21-B carving style. Fleur-de-lis highlights are surrounded by stippled backgrounds.
LOP: 13 7/8″ over recheckered wood butt. DAC: 1 9/16″. DAH: 2 7/16″. Neutral cast. Bore Diameter RT: .725, LT: .724. Choke Constriction RT: choke flares to .739 at muzzle, LT: .014. Minimum Wall Thickness RT: .037, LT: .038. Weight: 7lbs. 4.2oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: invoice from Cecil J. Mills of Torrance, CA for engraving and wood refinish, dated 5/22/1984, totaling $1,930 (shipping included). Also included are copies of newspaper articles talking about Los Angeles superior court judge, Cecil Mills, and a brochure from the NRA Gunsmith and Law Enforcement School. This beautiful shotgun is housed in a vinyl covered case, with brown velour interior.
