VERY RARE, DOCUMENTED WINCHESTER 1894 EXTRA LIGHT DELUXE TAKEDOWN MATTED BARREL LEVER ACTION SHORT RIFLE WITH CODY RESEARCH LETTER

Bbl. 22″ extra light octagon of takedown style w/ full length matted top. Half-length takedown mag. Lyman bead front sight, Lyman folding leaf rear sight & combination tang sight. Blue finish w/ case colored lever & hammer. 8 3/8″ short rifle length forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of dark XXX fancy black walnut. Features include hard rubber shotgun buttplate & style H checkering. Left inside of lower tang has assembly number “12070” followed by “XXX” wood grain marking w/ additional markings “0HR”. Top tang channel of stock has matching assembly number “12070”.
