VERY FINELY CRAFTED BLITZ EJECTOR O/U DOUBLE RIFLE BY BERNHARDT FRITZ ENGRAVED BY F. OBERDORFER WITH SWAROVSKI SCOPE

(1992). This truly fine rifle has 22-7/8″ demi-block barrels fitted with full length matted rib; central portion milled to form quarter rib and front sight ramp. Quarter rib holds one standing leaf sight and claw scope bases. Front ramp holds gold bead. Top of cut away portion is engraved “BERNHARDT FRITZ FICHTENBERG”. Bottom barrel is stamped with 1992 Ulm nitro proofs for 30-06. Barrels are of Boehler Antinit steel. Coin finished double Kirsten sideplated blitz O/U action features automatic safety, bushed strikers and double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with well cut and shaded accents of acanthus surrounding Bulino game scenes with battling stags and hind on left side; an eagle about to land on mountain crag on bottom and howling wolves on right. The action reinforce and fences are relief engraved with more Germanic acanthus. Engraver’s signature “F. Oberdorfer” is at front of wolf scene. Trigger guard is steel. Dark and nicely streaked European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/4″ over black rifle pad. Stock features shadow line right hand cheekpiece and sling loop. In place of checkering there are very nicely carved fish scales. Matching three piece ejector forend has Deeley release. Rifle is fitted with Swarovski Habicht 2.5-10X 30mm rail scope with duplex three post reticle in claw rings with cover. MEASUREMENTS: WEIGHT: 9 lb. 13 oz. with scope.
