INCREDIBLE, HIGH CONDITION WINCHESTER 97 TRENCH SHOTGUN WITH EARLY TRANSITION 6 ROW HEAT SHIELD

Bbl. 20″ cyl. bore. Fitted w/ bayonet lug & 6 row handguard. Breech end of bbl. has “flaming bomb” ordnance mark. Takedown style action w/ blue finish. Left side of receiver is marked “U.S.”. Grooved round forearm & pistol grip walnut stock w/ original buttplate. Left side of stock is stamped “W.B.” after “crossed cannon” ordnance mark. Post-WWII web sling on original swivels.
UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: scarce Winchester Model 1917 bayonet housed in green fiberglass scabbard. Left side of bayonet marked “1917” over “W” in circle. Right side of bayonet marked with eagle head over “PT-24”, flaming bomb & “U.S.” with a single “X”. Bayonet in good condition as arsenal refinished.
