This steel frame pistol has fixed front sight (white paint) and drift adj. rear sight (red paint) mounted on a shallow matte rib. Left side of the slide is marked with the Gustloff name and its location in Suhl. Right side of slide is marked with an Eagle/N that is repeated on the right side of the bbl. near the muzzle, and on the right tang. The right side of the bbl. hood is marked with the caliber. Full S# on the left side of frame, with the last few digits repeated over the firing pin housing, on the hammer, interior of slide, and on the inserted plate into the left side of the frame. Fitted with wood checkered panels, the left side fabricated with an encircled “G” within the checkered field. Button mag. release. Mag., electro-penciled “79” on bottom of spine, having 7-indicator holes and a curved detachable floorplate. MAGS: 1 8-rd. STATUS: CURIO.
