They indicate that your handgun, with serial number 13309 was shipped from our factory on September 10, 1872. It was delivered to M.W. Robinson Co., New York City. The records indicate that this revolver was shipped with an 8-inch barrel, and smooth walnut grips. The shipment was for 80 units of the Russian Model. The order contained both blue and nickel finishes. The records did not list the different finishes by serial number. The engraving and gold plating was done after it left our factory. Probably done by Robinson. If it is.”. Also included is a later production wood case with fitted interior and cartridge block.
