Another Unicorn on the market. An iconic example of a very early, correct, original German MP5 SMG. A true German push-pin, swing-down receiver is an incredibly rare find as a fully transferable example. Top strap marked “HK MP5 / C317687” & Eagle over “N” signifying the federal insignia of Germany & suitable for use with smokeless powder, code “IE” indicating 1984 manufacture & “Antler” mark indicating ULM proof house. Left side mag.-well markings include “Kal 9mm x19”. Right side of magazine well is marked “Made in Germany / HK Chantilly VA” where it was imported through. Front sight is a standard HK hooded post. Rear sight is the factory four position drum style peep sight. Site radius is approx. 13 1/4″. Matte black painted finish. Paddle mag. release. A3, collapsible buttstock. Plastic, “SEF” swing-down trigger pack. 3-Lug barrel. MAGS: 1 factory 30 rd marked “Restricted Law Enforcement / Government Use Only 10-94”.
