FULLY TRANSFERABLE DLO BREN MKII MACHINE GUN
03-1892 | Cal. 303 Brit. | S# 80MKII 001. | Bbl. 25″.
Blade front sight with protective ears. ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 1600yds. MKII Bren assembled using a DLO (Douglas L. Oefinger) receiver & various original Commonwealth parts. The Bren gun & its variants were famously used by Commonwealth forces in a variety of conflicts including WW2, Korea, Malaya, the Rhodesian Bush War & the Falklands. Bbl. appears to be 1944 dated & is numbered “3406”. Bbl. latch has electropencil number “4795”. There also appears to be a removed marking behind carry handle that is illegible. Selector has “A, S & R” positions. Right side of receiver marked “BRENN MKII” & “INGLIS 1944”. Left side of receiver has DLO markings with serial number. Both marking areas have added white highlight paint. Registration paperwork lists maker as DLO & Model as MKII. Metal has a mix of gray & black Suncorite type finishes. Walnut stock & pistol grip. Hardwood carry handle. Right sight of butt has “S.11/(Broad Arrow)” marking. Folding bipod present. MAGS: 12-20 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Bren Book by Ian Skennerton, mag transit chest, spare 1953 dated bbl. in very good arsenal refurbished condition, bbl. carrying case & Bren tripod that has a black Suncorite finish. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. STATUS: MODERN, CLASS III.
