Sporting front sight with replacement bone blade and original sporting rear sight. Button mag. Blue finish with case colored action. Single set trigger. Forearm and pistol grip stock of fancy walnut featuring ebony grip insert, Style H checkering, and steel shotgun buttplate. Left inside of lower tang is marked with assembly # “266” followed by “S” and wood grade marking “XXX”. Top tang channel of stock has matching assembly # “266”. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter stating: “Serial number applied on October 22, 1890/ Type: Rifle/ Caliber: 40/65/ Barrel Type: 1/2 octagon/ Trigger: Set/ Checkered stock, Pistol grip/ 1/2 Magazine/ Shotgun butt/ Received in warehouse on November 19, 1890/ Shipped from warehouse on December 04, 1890, Order number 18498”.
