Revolver has been beautifully restored to like new condition in standard configuration as stated in factory letter, shipped Aug. 22, 1882 to C.H. Colt, nickel, rubber logo eagle grips, 7.5″ barrel Caldwell H. Colt (1858-1882) was Samuel Colt’s only son who died very young at 39, Samuel Colt died young at 48 building a firearms empire and one of the wealthiest men in America. Caldwell who inherited a fortune has legacy of being premier American yachtsman. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter and biography of Caldwell Colt. PROVENANCE: Joe Johnson collection.
