Bbl. 30″ octagon with Hartford address measuring 7/8″ across flats at the muzzle. Sporting front with Lawrence patent rear sight. Blue finished bbl. with case colored action. Double set triggers. Pewter tipped walnut forend and straight grip stock with rifle buttplate. Weight 9 lbs, 4.4 oz. A note with the rifle indicates a ship date of November 18,1875.
