Revolver features Helfrict style 75% coverage factory engraving. Bottom of butt has factory gold inlaid “DON M TURNER”. Revolver is stocked with factory fitted 1 piece mother of pearl Mexican eagle & snake grip. Don M. Turner was once a Sheriff’s Deputy in New Mexico who was hired by Secretary A.B. Fall of the Interior department to protect cattle interests there. Included research of Newspaper article copies and crew/ passenger lists indicates Turner often travelled to other countries such as Nicaragua and Honduras. One article even indicates he was once held by immigration authorities until it could be determined that he was actually a U.S. Citizen.
