Cased ninth plate ruby ambrotype, seated Whittenburg is armed with 3rd model Colt navy revolver and massive D-Guard bowie knife, throat to knife sheath is clearly observed on his belt, mat was not removed to see more detail of revolver and sheath. This is probably the finest Texas image showing detailed D-Guard bowie of truly big Texas size. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: research on Whittenburg, back of case has inked family details. STATUS: NON-GUN.
