Bbls. 28″ of Acme Steel are marked “Overload Proved”. Steel front bead. 1 1/2″ frame. Case colored boxlock action w/ fancy fences & B grade factory engraving. Right side scene features two pointers. Left side features a setter & a pointer. Floorplate shows two flying geese. Balance of receiver has arabesque scroll engraving w/ fancy borders that continue to the trigger guard bow & forearm iron. Breech end of bbls. have borderline engraving. Aftermarket single selective trigger. Selective ejectors. Steel tipped splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of nicely grained walnut w/ gloss finish & “B” grade hand checkering. Additional checkering on stock ears w/ fleur-de-lis finials. Brass plate on grip cap has an engraved border w/ initials “JED” over a date of “9-21-27″. LOP: 13 3/16″ over checkered butt w/ engraved skeleton steel buttplate. DAC: 1 5/8″. DAH: 3”.
