INCREDIBLE REPRODUCTION OF A RARE FLAT SIDE 1st MODEL WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 LEVER ACTION RIFLE

This is a masterful reproduction possibly made by the late Ron Kudrick or one of the other few master craftsmen with the exceptional ability required. Rifle Has all the characteristics of these very rare earliest 1866 rifles, 24 3/8” octagonal barrel has two line “HENRY’S PATENT OCT. 16, 1860 / KING’S PATENT MARCH 29, 1866”, full length magazine, 900-yard Henry adjustable sight, inset dovetailed pinched front sight with German silver blade, Straight grain walnut stock, brass crescent butt plate with trapdoor for 4-piece cleaning rod, S# “13000 EX” is found on left side of lower tang, tang channel of buttstock and inside toe of butt plate. “W” proof stamped rear of lever catch. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: string tag that was attached to gun stating, “Henry Exp. / #13000 / $65,000 / 1-17-06 / from / L. Carpenter”. 4-piece iron & brass cleaning rod.
