RUGER OLD MODEL 44 FLAT TOP BLACKHAWK REVOLVER WITH ORIGINAL BOX

Bbl. 6 1/2″ with serrated blade integral to ramped base as front sight plus frame mounted Micro adjustable rear sight having index mark on elevation screw. Shipped December 1956 (1956-1962); November was first month of production. Model BKH-46 with standard Type 2 (8,000 units) features of flat topped cylinder frame, dimpled ejector rod head, steel offset ejector housing, base pin with narrow lands (no collar), capped base pin latch plus XR3 alloy grip frame with nicely figured contoured walnut (standard) grips having black eagle medallions. Barrel has Southport address without eagle logo or “INC.”; eagle logo on cylinder frame. Pleasing plum hue to cylinder frame and loading gate. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good to excellent matching numbered (red grease pencil on label edge; faint) original box. Bottom is very slightly scuffed; one corner and one seam are just beginning to separate. Top is in amazing (about near excellent) condition; very small scuff on left front corner. Factory letter of 2001 confirming above info.
