A rare & exciting opportunity to own a famous piece of movie history. You have the opportunity to own perhaps the most famous movie prop from the 1983 hit movie “SCARFACE”. This is the center point of the famous scene where Cuban ex-con, now American Cocaine kingpin, Tony Montana, played by Al Pachino, steps on to the balcony and proclaims “Say hello to my little friend!”. THIS IS THE LITTLE FRIEND. This Movie prop 40mm grenade launcher, used in the movie SCARFACE is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Long Mountain Outfitters, stating the following: “Movie use of firearm or prop from Stembridge Gun Rentals, Inc. This document hereby certifies that the described item was used in the movie noted, by Stembridge Gun Rentals, Inc. 431 Magnolia Ave., Glendale, California. If an actor is noted, this certifies that this piece was used as one of the props by that actor. SGR President Syd Stembridge identified the following piece and certified it as original and authentic. Prop or Firearm: 37mm flare launcher to mount on M16 rifle. Serial number (If applicable): Not Applicable. Movie or Show:: Scarface. Actor: Al Pachino as “Tony Montana” used on his M16 as “My Little Friend”. Date: 3 Jun. 07. Signed by E. Daniel Shea, General manager, LMO LLC. w/ signature.” Black painted finish. The lever works on the left side of the receiver to open what would be the chamber.
