FINE CONFEDERATE RIGDON ANSLEY REVOLVER WITH LONG COLLECTION HISTORY

This Confederate revolver made in Augusta, GA is among the finest examples known. Dr. Robert Moore was renowned Confederate revolver collector, and this was a prized gun that he used on his Christmas card in 1978. This revolver is all original and matching S#s throughout, “W” inspection mark of Wescom Hudgin on triggerguard, “CSA” final government surcharge on top barrel flat. It is among the lowest S# utilizing serialized non-spring wedge. There are only about 50 of the final version of Rigdon revolvers, and this is among the top 2 or 3. This revolver has only been in 2 collector’s hands in over 50 years of being known.
