HIGHLY DESIRABLE KRIEGHOFF LUGER, 1940 DATE, WITH ORIGINAL FINISH, HOLSTER, & MATCHING MAGAZINE
26-2224 | Cal. 9mm Luger. | S# 10927.
Scarce Krieghoff WWII military Luger, 1940 chamber date, only 1100 having been assembled that year, all matching including magazine. This standard configuration pistol has a 4 inch barrel with drift adjustable front sight and “V” notched rear sight. Chamber marked “1940”. Front toggle link with the HK/KRIEGHOFF/SUHL logo. Full serial number “10927” on forward frame, under barrel, and left side of barrel extension. All the usual small parts matched to the last two digits of the serial number, most with the associated Eagle/2 acceptance. Original unmarked black Bakelite grips. MAGS: x1 extruded blued 8-rd. mag. body, left side marked with a “122” and double Eagle/37, the aluminum plug marked with the Eagle/2 acceptance and the full “10927” serial number. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct black leather holster marked with an Eagle/2 Krieghoff proof on the interior of the body. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of John Eckert. (26-2223/LMA).
