FULLY TRANSFERABLE FINNISH MARKED M1915 CHAUCHAT MACHINE GUN
03-2257 | Cal. 8mm Lebel. | S# 206916. | Bbl. 18″. | Blade front sight.
Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m rear sight has two vacant locking screw holes causing the aperture to be loose. Matching numbers on receiver & endcap. Famous or perhaps infamous WW1 French light machine gun used by their army & the AEF, as one the first man portable MGs. Left of receiver marked “C.S.R.G” for Chauchat, Suterre Ribeyrolle and Gladiator. Front of tube is “N” marked for interwar Balle N upgrade. End cap has boxed “SA” Finnish army marking. Arsenal rework type blue finish. NFA registry lists mfr. French Chauchat. Hardwood stock marked with a star over “M” on left side & pistol grip. Folding bipod present that is a bit loose.
