Bbl. 8 1/2″ with L.F.C. made M9 flash hider. Blade front sight. Fixed aperture rear sight. Iconic WW2 SMG that was made as a cheaper replacement for the Thompson. This is the earlier M3 model with crank charging handle. Left side of mag well has standard Guide Lamp markings with Ordnance Wheel. Bottom metal has “B-301456-4 / BGR-GL” & “G.L. C153432” Guide lamp drawing numbers. Bottom metal also has white paint “T/O/E” & “6” markings. Parkerized finish. NFA paperwork lists mfr. as “US”. Wire collapsible stock. MAGS: 1-30 rd. blued marked “SPW GL”. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION.
