FULLY TRANSFERABLE WW1 GERMAN MG08-15 MAXIM MACHINE GUN
03-2114 | Cal. 7.92 (8mm Mauser). | S# 1273a.
Bbl. 28 1/2″ DWM made. Blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Balance of parts are matching with fusee cover, Mercedes made lock, rear plate ahead of stock & a few smaller parts being mismatched. 1918 S&H (Siemens & Halske) made MG-08/15 light machine gun. The 08/15 was a lightened version of the famed German MG-08 Maxim used heavily in WW1. NFA paperwork lists “GERMANY” as mfr. Bbl. jacket has WW1 German style camo repaint. Balance of parts are blued. Unnumbered beech stock. Green painted bipod present. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. STATUS: CURIO, CLASS III.
