HARD TIMES ARMORY REGISTERED VALMET M76 MACHINE GUN

Originally mfg. as a standard M76 rifle in Finland by Valmet for commercial sales, this example was subsequently imported by Valmet Inc. and converted into a machine gun by Hard Times Armory. The left side of the receiver is marked with the S# above the cal. designation, followed by a milled panel above “Semi-Automatic Rifle”, with the Valmet logo marked on the right above “Made in Finland” and 2 Finnish proofs. Underside of the receiver is marked with Valmet Inc.’s importer information above an electro-penciled “HT ARMORY/ SMYRNA GA”. Metal components exhibit a phosphate finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. 2-piece checkered black synthetic ventilated forearm, with impress checkered black synthetic pistol grip, and a fixed wood buttstock with a grooved black synthetic Valmet buttplate. 3-prong flash hider with integral bayonet lug, hooded post front sight with flip-up night sight, and tangent aperture rear sight graduated 1.5-6. All serialized parts are matching, to include the receiver and rear sight base. MAGS: x1 phosphate finished steel 3-weld mag. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. STATUS: MODERN. CLASS III.
