RARE & FINE S# 60 COLT 1905 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH VERY RARE ORIGINAL COMBINATION STOCK HOLSTER

The Model 1905 pistol was Colt’s first attempt at designing a weapon chambered in 45ACP. The storied 1911 is a direct descendent of this model. In total, there were just over 6,000 Model 1905’s produced with only approx. 440 manufactured with backstrap cut for a shoulder stock. Bbl. 5″. Slide has fixed blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide behind serrations bears the Rampant Colt logo. Left side of frame stamped with S# “60”. Early rounded checkered hammer. Pistol features the early Colt high polish blued finish with niter blue trigger and extractor. Checkered two-piece walnut “diamond” grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original unmarked black leather holster with brass stock attachment. STATUS: CURIO.
