SCARCE FULLY TRANSFERABLE M55 REISING SUBMACHINE GUN

Adjustable aperture rear sight. Scarce H&R Reising with folding stock made at the request of the USMC for a more compact version of the M50 SMG. The M55 was notably used by Paramarines during airborne operations. Receiver top bears correct “MODEL 55” marking. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock with bottom mounted sling swivels & correct wire folding stock. Stock exhibits a of vertical play when locked. MAGS: 5-20 rd. all H&R made. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: aftermarket hardcase with USMC 5-cell mag pouch dated 1942 & made by R.M.CO., Also included are what appears to the matching factory box that is also marked “M50” with manual, sling & cleaning rod.
