CIVIL WAR MARTIAL COLT 1860 ARMY REVOLVER

The Colt 1860 Army revolver cut for shoulder stock with 4-screw frame was manufactured early 1862. Standard configuration, notched steel backstrap, milled recoil shields, 8” round barrel with rolled address “COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA” with dashes, frame stamped on left “COLTS / PATENT”, brass trigger guard. Cylinder has rolled Texas Navy battle scene. Sub-inspection initials observed barrel “S”, cylinder “S” and “TT”, back strap “T”, and trigger guard “B”. Revolver is accompanied with reproduction shoulder stock. ANTIQUE GUN
