Mfg. middle of 1941, as Colt was increasing production & implementing changes to the M1911A1 for wartime production. Per “U.S. Pistols & Revolvers 1909-1945″ by J.C. Harrison, this pistol appears to have all correct parts including Type 6 Colt 5” bbl., matching number on slide & Type 4 Coltwood grips (Ass. # 5 & 10). MAGS: 1 two tone 7 rd. CURIO GUN
