ATTRACTIVE DWM MODEL 1902 LUGER CARBINE WITH STOCK

DWM 1902 Luger Carbine often considered a holy grail for most Luger collectors. Production estimated at approx. 2,500 carbines in the S# range of 21000 to approx. 25000. “B” “U” proofing on left side of bbl. extension, under bbl., with additional proofs on breechblock and forward toggle link. Standard length 11.75″ bbl. with serrated ramp dovetailed bead insert front sight and a 4-position rear sight with numerated segments 1, 2, 3. Blank chamber, with flat breechblock. Intertwined “DWM” on front toggle link. Full SN on frame extension and bbl. with last 2-3 digits on all the usual parts, including the takedown lever, side plate, trigger, breechblock, each segment of the toggle train, bbl. extension lug, and for end. For end wedge with a hand scribed “796” on upper surface, grip safety #72, and stock with a force matched “796” on upper body. MAGS: x1 8-rd. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of John Eckert.
