Pictured & described on pages 226-227 of Norm Flayderman’s monumental “THE BOWIE KNIFE”. 2” silvered brass plaque is inset in grip “W. E. PRESTON / Co. B 33rd ALA Reg / C.S.A. 1861”. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: copy of pages from “The Bowie Knife”; letter from Flayderman family gifting knife to Mr. Berenson for “his deep respect & sincere gratitude & the friendship you shared”; service records for soldier.
