RARE EARLY VICKERS PEDERSEN PA SEMI AUTO RIFLE

Blade front sight. Adjustable aperture rear sight. This Pedersen rifle was made by Vickers-Armstrong in England & features a unique toggle lock action similar to that of the Luger pistol. The rifle was chambered in the 276 Pedersen rd. & was the main competitor to the famed M1 Garand rifle. The rifle was ultimately rejected by the US Army & Pedersen had a partnership with Vickers-Armstrong Ltd., who would produce less than 300 varied Pedersen models. This rifle with its low serial “17” is one of the first PA models made. Top of receiver marked “C2”. Left side of receiver has “PEDERSEN SELF-LOADER PA / VICKERS-ARMSTRONG’S LTD.” marking. Blued finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & ventilated handguard. CURIO GUN
