BEAUTIFUL PAUL KROGH UPGRADED AUTO-ORDNANCE MODEL1928 THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN WITH CASE & DRUMS

Model 1928 Thompson submachine mfg. by Auto-Ordnance in West Hurley, NY. Left side of the receiver is marked “U.S. MODEL 1928” above the S#, followed by “THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN/ CALIBER .45 M1”, with the Thompson trademark bullet logo marked on the top, and with patent information and “AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION/ WEST HURLEY, NEW YORK, U.S.A.” marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a beautiful lustrous “deluxe” deep blue finish by Paul Krohg. Finger grooved foregrip and pistol grip, with 2-screw fastened plain wood buttstock featuring blued steel trapdoor buttplate. Standard fixed blade front sight with windage and elevation adj. peep ladder rear sight, the center of the base’s raised rib marked “MADE BY ‘LYMAN’ MIDDLEFIELD, CONN.U.S.A.”. This example was professionally upgraded by Paul Krogh (K Diamond) in-line with the Model 1921 Thompson, to include a new mag. catch, 21A style bbl., 21 style ejector, polymer buffer disc, 21 style recoil spring, paddle pivot & safety levers, 1/2″ milled grip mount, ring style front sight (Colt contour), front sight pin, aforementioned Lyman rear sight, as well as rear sight pins and rivets. Additionally, Krogh re-machined a number of parts / components, with notable highlights including the actuator, ejector facet, bolt aperture “c’sink”, and mag. lip clearances, amongst other work performed that is befitting of Krogh’s quality. MAGS: x4 vintage 20-rd. stick mags. (x1 Auto-Ordnance, x1 Seymour, and x2 SW Co.), x2 vintage 50-rd. “L” drums mfg. by United Air Cleaner, as well as x1 West Hurley 50-rd. “L” drum. This example is also accompanied by a contemporary FBI case containing a brass cleaning rod, as well as an invoice from Krogh detailing the work performed.
