ALWAYS DESIRABLE SMITH & WESSON MODEL 76 SUBMACHINE GUN

Model 76 submachine gun mfg. by Smith & Wesson for commercial / law enforcement sales (as indicated by the “U” S# prefix). Left side of the receiver is marked “SMITH & WESSON”, with “MOD. 76 U690” marked on the right. Left side of the mag. well assembly is marked with S&W’s mfg. information, with the S&W trademark logo on the right. Selector is marked “SAFE”, “SEMI”, and “FULL”. Metal components exhibit a matte gray finish overall. 1-piece checkered black synthetic grip, with added textured and finger grooved black rubber grip sleeve. Side-folding buttstock with rubberized coating. Perforated bbl. shroud with standard fixed blade front sight and fixed peep rear sight. Rear sight features an added black anodized rail fitted with a Burris Fast fire 3 red dot sight, which has been affixed via a screw through the rear sight hole (not requiring opening of the rear sight hole).
