ALWAYS DESIRABLE TNW AA-M3 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH TRIPOD

AA-M3 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by TNW on a new semi-automatic side plate from newly mfg. and surplus parts / components. These AA-M3 rifles were mfg. to resemble the AN/M3 aircraft machine guns, which boasted an impressive 1,200 RPM. While implemented late into WWII, the AN/M3 saw extensive on various U.S. fighter aircraft during the Korean War before being phased out in favor of 20mm cannons. This example is marked with the TNW logo above “U.S. GOVERNMENT MODEL AA M3/ SEMI AUTO .50 CALIBER/ VERNONIA, OR. / SER. NO. 000746”, followed by “Patented Firearms/ TNW/ 10th Anniversary/ 1997 2007/ 50 Cal.” within an oval on the right-side plate. Perforated bbl. support is marked “19200-550509/ MFG 10506/ P3”. Surplus parts exhibit various drawing numbers. Metal components exhibit a parkerized finish overall. M3 pattern flexible backplate with 2-piece plain wood spade grips and TNW mfg. butterfly trigger. Wood charging handle. Standard hooded blade front sight and flip-up aperture ladder rear sight.
