Model 1917A1 water-cooled machine gun mfg. by DLO with a newly mfg. side plate and surplus parts / components. Right side plate is marked “NO 310431 U.S. INP. (CROSSED CANNON ORDNANCE WHEEL) F.K./ BROWNING MACHINE GUN/ U.S. CAL. .30 M1917A1/ MAN’F’D BY ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL/ PATENT 1,621,476/ DOUGLAS L. OEFINGER STAMFORD CT U.S.A.”. Parts and components exhibit various drawing numbers. Metal components exhibit a professionally reapplied parkerized finish overall, save for on the rear sight assembly and bbl., which are blued. Pistol grip is mounted with 2-piece plain brown synthetic grips. Standard hooded post front sight and 1917A1 pattern rear sight assembly graduated from 100 to 2,700 yards. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: professionally repai nted M1917A1 tripod with x2 data plates (x1 reading “REMFG./ LAMSON CORP./ 1945”, the other “NO 140881/ MOUNT, TRIPOD/ M1917A1/ MCE. CO. 1942/ R.J.H.”) fitted with correct cradle and wood ammunition box. Additionally, this example is accompanied by x1 U.S. M1 water chest, x1 U.S. M1A water chest, x1 U.S. pattern transportable water can, x2 spare RIA bbls. in a canvas M9 spare bbl. carrier, x1 empty reproduction wood belt loader box, x10 cloth belts, x1 Clinometer mfg.
